Today was the first warm day, with no snow on the ground, that we have had this spring. The kids have been after me to let them explore the creek, so today they got their waders on and away they went. Andrew and Joey decided to try to harvest some of the "seaweed" that was growing in the creek and Becca just had a blast running back and forth through the shallow part. The boys were obviously into the deeper part but Becca was by far much wetter. I had to empty her boots out twice because they were overflowing with water. Neither boy had to even change their socks when we got back to the house. This creek is where the kids spend a lot of time during the summer, there is always something new to explore. I think I may have to buy myself some waders so I can join them. I remember spending many days exploring this same creek as a kid.

That looks like fun! I'm a big fan of splashing in the puddles, so maybe I can join them in the creek sometime!
