Becca had her first day of preschool yesterday, she loved it. She didn't seem nervous at all. The only problem was the busing. She is suppposed to be picked up aroung 820 and school starts for her at 830. Well the bus is the same the same that the boys ride, it just circles around three times to complete each route. It is supposed to pick up Andrew at 650, get him to school and circle back to the ridge and start on Joe's route. Joey is supposed to be picked up around 750 and then the bus finishes up at Southern Bluffs and comes back Hwy 14 to start picking up preschool kids. Yesterday the bus didn't come through until 945, I had given up and taken Becca to school by 900. Here some pics of her from her first day.
Then today, once we got the boys onto their buses, it was time to wait for Becca's bus. It was really foggy, hard to see anything.
This is the view looking up the valley
How am I supposed to see the bus through all of this?
Then the bus finally came, here are some pics from the rest of the morning adventure.
Posing pretty while we wait.
There she goes, I was almost in tears watching her go. She did turn back and wave several times, then she was gone.
That is the sight of freedom for me for the next 3 hours.
If you are wondering why there are no pictures from the boys' first days at school,I was informed by both of them, "Mom, don't you dare take pictures of me getting on the bus, that is NOT cool!" Sorry for those of you looking for pictures.
The start of school also means the start of my busy taxi service. Andrew started Hunter's Safety, that is twice a week for this month. Joey and Andrew are both in Cub/Boy Scouts. Those meetings are twice a month, of course on the same night, in different schools. All three start swim lessons next weekend, which will be every Sat for the next 3 months. Add to that nightly homework, field trips, doctor appts, and our own work schedules. My poor dry erase board is overloaded. I'm sure all of you moms out there can relate with this craziness. And people wonder why moms have to be able to multi-task.
Take care, ya'll.
