It's official...Andrew passed his hunter safety class with flying colors! His score was 99% on oral test, 100% on written test, and 2nd best in shooting. Go Andrew! He has been taking classes twice a week, all month and had his final testout yesterday. Rich is soooo proud of his hunter and can't wait to be able to hunt with him. Andrew and Rich are going to North Dakota in Jan for a bowhunt and Andrew will be able to use his own weapon. Then he will be 12 in time to actively participate in the spring turkey hunt. They have been hunting together since Andrew was three, where he would be Daddy's helper and companion. My oldest son is absolutely crazy for anything to do with guns and hunting. My middle son, not so much. I think once Joe can actually hunt himself and not just watch, he will be more enthusiastic for hunting. Joe just has a hard time now just sitting and watching, it is just not in his personality to sit still and quiet.
I am getting a new camera soon and can't wait! It has a better zoom and a sports mode to help me better catch the kids' action. I know I will have a lot to learn about the camera but hopefully I will soon have better pictures to share with everyone.
