Happy Thanksgiving to all

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, full of whatever makes you thankful. What am I thankful for? I have spent a lot of time today thinking about this. First of all, I am thankful for my wonderful husband, he is so loving and takes wonderful care of us all. He is my friend and my companion, we are different in many ways, but bring out the best in each other and work so well together. I tend to think of us as the ying/yang, we complete each other. I am thankful for my three beautiful kids, they are a blessing and a joy me to every day. I can't imagine living my life without Andrew, Joseph, or Rebecca. They always bring smiles, laughter, tears, and hugs to me, and also, we share so much love. I am thankful for the health my family has been blessed with. When thinking of our friend's current health battle and some of the issues I see at work, it makes me appreciate even more how healthy my kids, my husband, and our parents and siblings all are. I am thankful that Rich and I are lucky enough to have our both of our parents still with us here on Earth. Rich even has 4 grandparents with us yet. I am thankful for my job, which allows me to help provide for my family but still be here for them. I am able to give my kids most of what they need and sometimes what they want. I am thankful for my house, being able to live in the country, to enjoy the peacefulness of our valley. Also, I cannot forget to thank the Lord for my friends, what would I ever do without any of you. Some of my friends are my family, all of you are like my family. I know I have been very blessed in the gifts I have been given and I try very hard to take care of all of these gifts. What are each of you thankful for?

Today for Thanksgiving, we went to my Mom's house and enjoyed a wonderful meal. My parents are both wonderful cooks so it is always a pleasure to share a meal there. My mom also had a wonderful idea of having the kids use some cookies and candies and make little pilgrim hats. They had a blast!

They also were hamming it up after lunch, even providing me with a couple of poses.
