Easter week

This week has been another quick week, where does the time go? On Thurs, while I was at work, Rich took the kids to see the Harlem Globetrotters. What a treat! I really wish I could have gone with them! The kids got to go out and interact with the Pros, so it was a great chance for them.

This was right before Becca got a little intimidated and started to cry. I don't think she knew what to think with all the attention from these "giants" around her.

Yesterday we went to my Aunt Pat's house for an Easter celebration. The kids always have so much fun there. They live out in the country, so the kids are able to just run and yell as much as they want outside (like at home) plus we always do a big egg hunt for all the kids. Three or four different people contribute eggs (we filled ours with change this year) and the kids just have a blast looking around for them all.
Becca was a great Big Cousin this year, she took it upon herself to make sure that Emma was able to find many eggs, even "replanting" eggs into an easier place so Emma could find them.

Isn't she just adorable?

I managed to catch Joey's picture before he could make a goofy face at me.

Andrew also was able to experience his first REAL hunt on Sat and Sun, a turkey hunt. He went with his Dad all day Sat, they saw many, shot at a couple, but weren't able to bring one home. On Sun morning, his Grandpa took him for a few hours, again with no success. Here is my newest mighty hunter...

This is what they were hunting for. Supposedly this big tom turkey all fluffed out is even the one that Andrew shot at, once he got his nerves under control and remembered how important breathing is.

Unfortunately this also happened. Naptime! This is what happens when the mighty hunters get up at 445 and sit in the quiet woods too long. Of course this was in Grandpa's decked out hunting shack, oh, they are roughing it in the recliner while they hunt, aren't they? What a hoot!

We have another Easter celebration today at my parents home. We will have a nice supper together and of course have another egg hunt for the kids. I'll update later with pics from this gathering.
