It has been one year since God called home his little angel, our friend Kendra. While I know our sadness is nothing compared to what her family has gone through, Becca still talks about her weekly, if not daily. Here are some pictures of our little angel friend, some of our favorites.
These last few pictures are from just a month before Kendra went to heaven. Still a happy, smiley little lady, even though in constant pain and discomfort. What a strong girl she was, dealing with more surgeries and pain than most adults could ever imagine coping with. 
All the people you touched while alive, you continue to touch even yet, Kendra. Please help bring some peace and comfort to those still struggling, share the beauty that you see now, to ease the pain left behind. You will always be missed and remembered, even by the youngest of those you befriended.

This was a beautiful post Susan. I could't agree more with everything you said. Kendra truly was a special little girl even for those of us that knew her a short time.

I wanted to Thank You for remembering Kendra on her the one year anniversary. (March 18th 2009) Will always be the worst day of our lives!
I could not stop crying reading your website. It meant so much that you did this for Kendra, and our family! She did touch so many lives, and we were so blessed to have been able to get to know so many staff at Franciscan Skemp, and many continue to still be friends!!
