More vacation pictures, finally

Sorry I have taken so long to continue with the picture, life has been busy. Here are a few more pictures of the great vacation we had.

We visited the Hayward Fishing Museum, home of the giant Musky.

Here is the view from the top of the musky, yes, you can climb to the top.

Look out, Joey! What a great catch!

At the base of the Musky, there was a little fishing area for the kids. These little fish were hungry and very eager to nibble on the barbless hooks. Awww, Andrew liked his fish...

Joey was determined to catch a few fish

Becca was determined also, can you tell by her look?

Wanna give it a kiss?

We took in a lumberjack show, held in the same arena as the World Lumberjack Championships. What a great show!

Another day trip was to Copper Falls State Park, in Mellen. What a gorgeous park!

There were lots of steps, going down and back up through the canyon.

Look closely towards the top right corner, see the small brown dot? Its a deer, grazing along the rapids. We didn't realize we had caught this in the picture until later.

As we walked, we were able to get really close to the deer.

We also spent one day canoeing down one of the rivers. What a blast! Rich, Becca, and I shared a canoe and the boys shared a kayak.

It was so pretty and peaceful.

As we were going along, we were surprised to find two large snapping turtles rolling around in the water, either fighting or mating, couldn't really tell which. We were able to pull our canoe up right next to them, one almost started to climb into our canoe!

That concludes the highlights from our vacation, thanks for waiting for me to finally post!
