Summer fun

while Joey was getting ready to head to summer scout camp, I couldn't resist taking this picture of him and his backpack. Everthing he needed was in there, but the pack is as big as he is! Andrew used this same pack for all of his camping trips this summer, doesn't look quite so big on his back.




My friend, Sarah, came with her two kids and stayed for two nights this week. It was so much fun to catch up with her, I don't think we have talked face to face for over 2 years! Her kids, Abby and Daniel, are so cute and very well behaved, and just the right ages for keeping Becca company. Becca had a blast having friends here, sleeping over and playing with just her. Rich was gone with Andrew and Joey, up to a friend's cabin, for a boy's only vacation. So Sarah and I had the house to ourself, at least with only 3 kids instead of 5. Thank you Sarah, for coming to town, it was a blast spending time with you, I still miss you also. We took them back to the family cabin and introduced them to the slip-n-slide. They had been seeing pictures of it in my posts, so couldn't wait to try it out. Believe it or not, I didn't take any pictures!
