Good clean fun

It has been unseasonably warm around here lately, so the kids have already gotten out the sprinkler for the summer. Of course, along with running through the sprinkler, comes the making of mud. And with the making of mud, comes the making of mud monsters, naturally. Joey seems to attract mud on a normal day, so it didn't surprise me a bit that he was the first one covered, head to toe, in mud.

Becca had to "help" Joey get totally covered.


Joey tried to give Becca a hug, she wasn't too sure about it.



"Vogue! Strike a pose!" Ya can't help but laugh at these two.



And then there's my ham. As Andrew so kindly told me, these pictures will come back to haunt Joe when he graduates, we both will make sure of that.


Then came the hard work of cleaning the mud off. Becca very kindly helped to rub off what she had put on.


Needless to say, both kids still needed showers. I still was finding mud in Joey's ear this morning. Nothing like some good clean fun, right?
