Over the last few months, we have seen our dog, Cleopatra or Cleo, lose a lot of muscle strength. Her hind legs, especially the left hip, has gotten a lot weaker, and is very prone to give out on her. She can no longer make it back up the steps from the basement and suddenly hesitates to even go up the three steps from outside to the house. Because of these changes, we know our time with Cleo is coming to an end soon. To help us always remember our old girl, we have been trying to capture some pictures of her and our family. Today the weather actually cooperated, so I took the kids and Cleo down to a local park and tried to catch some pictures. Trying to take a picture with all three kids wearing nice smiles, looking at me, and not squinting, plus getting an old half-deaf dog to look at the same time is almost impossible! Here are some of my better results...
We also took some other, random pictures today. Hope you enjoy them too!
