Andrew had another concert this week, this was a biggie too. This was an all-city orchestra concert, so there were kids there from all the public schools in the city, from 5th grade thru high school. Here is a view of the Civic Center, look at all the kids!
Andrew did really well, playing 2 songs with just the 6th grade orchestra and then the grand finale with all the kids, all levels, playing together for one song.
Have I said lately how much I love my camera? No? Well, I do, a lot. If you can't tell, I am a little picture happy...just a little. Tonight, I went out as the moon was coming up over the tree tops and captured the beauty of it. It is a full moon, just so bright and peaceful.
Please say a few prayers for several friends who are going through a difficult time right now. They need some help to raise them up and help them get through these troubling, trying times unscathed. Please pray for Kendra, our little friend. She is getting much closer to being called home to God, leaving behind much grief in her absence.
Susie, I hope you had a great birthday, sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you. I waited around all day, waiting to call until I thought you would be home, then after I did call and leave a message, Rich came up and said that you had just called him!
Andrew's birthday is coming up soon, I am hoping to do a special post on his day. We'll see if I can get it done. I am also spending a lot of time working on a family tree for my Dad's side of the family, anyone have any tips for me?
