A teenager in the house??!!

Happy birthday to my teenager, Andrew! I cannot believe that it is even possible to have a child that old, but he is not about to let us forget he is now 13. We didn't do anything too major to celebrate, just some nice family time. Andrew wanted to go to Buzzard Billy's for supper, so we headed there Friday night...yumm! Then on his actual birthday, yesterday, he spent the morning at his grandparents, working on yardwork with Joey and their cousins. Once done there, the four boys went to my brother's farm and worked on their yard a bit, and finally got to play the evening away with his cousins. We ended up having Jake and Steven spend the night, the boys are now outside riding bikes, and Becca is trying to keep up eith them. I am working all weekend, so my only goal today is to try and get some sleep at some point.
I am so proud of Andrew and of the young man he is becoming. He is usually polite, caring, and very empathatic. Like any teenager, he is occassionally moody and silent, but for the most part, he a wonderful kid. I will try to share some pictures of him over the years soon. Take care y'all.
