Door County, again...

A couple of weekends ago, I was able to make another weekend trip to my favorite place, Door County. We stayed at "our" cabin, the same one we have used each trip. We debated about looking for a different cabin this round, but we just love our location too much. There are not sand beaches on all parts of Door County and that is part of the draw for us, so we will stay where we are at.

We enjoyed a campfire on the beach our first night and of course made smores!

Naturally we got up in the morning to enjoy the sunrise, what a glorious view to behold!

Later in the day, we took a drive up the peninsula. We stopped at a couple of small county parks, some we had never seen before.

We had fun playing in the trees and leaves.

What wonderful fall colors we saw on our drive!

We ended up going to our favorite park, Cave Point, twice this vacation. The first time, it was very windy. We saw waves breaking and crashing there like we have never seen before. The power we witnessed was awe-inspiring!

The next day we went back to Cave Point and saw our usual waves. The lake level was lower than we had witnessed before, so we could explore further out on the rocks than ever before.

I'll try to update with more pictures soon, hope you enjoyed seeing my adventures!
