Some sunny weather fun

Yes, it is two posts in one day, so don't forget to scroll down and check out my first post. Now that it seems spring is finally coming and the weather has been so dry and sunny, we are getting out to reexplore some area parks. We went one night to "rocky park", a beautiful park we found last fall in Westby. The kids always have fun here, just climbing and exploring. Don't you wonder how these huge boulders ended up settling right there?


Of course Becca was only too happy to climb up and pose for me.

Andrew had fun jumping from boulder to boulder. Nothing like making my heart skip a beat here and there.

I like how I caught Andrew's silhouette against the sun and the rocks.

I actually caught Joey again, before he could hide or make a face at me, of course he wouldn't smile, but you can see his face. It's a start.


Then last night we went for a walk with a great friend on the bike trails. What a nice night we had.











Normally I wouldn't complain about so many beautiful days in a row, but things are really dry here in the Midwest, dangerously so. Please say a prayer that the rain they are forecasting for the weekend truly develops and is substantial. It is desperately needed right now. Till next time....
