Just had to let everyone know that I am surviving my weekend with two extra boys in the house. I don't know if my house or my daughter will survive, but I am....so far. It isn't a problem having my nephews here, it is more a matter of throwing off our normal routine and quite a bit of extra noise and chaos. It seems that having Kade and Mason here means that my kids have license to act out of control. We did have some quiet times this weekend, we played playdough and videogames. We watched some TV and a new movie. We napped, sort of. Most of the time though we ran, yelling, through the house with trucks and play gun and a bow, racing and hunting "big bucks". A few pictures to share...
Some playful wrestling between Joey and Mason
Kade has spent some time getting used to playing Becca's Leapster
We also spent as much time as possible outside. Mason decided he had to take a walk and explore the hills.
Becca was "stuck" after rolling out of the sled.
Kade is too cute, hamming it up for the camera.
We also had some playdough time.
Mason really liked the playdough, he had to concentrate and focus on what he was doing.
I'll keep ya'll posted on what else we do to pass this cold weekend with a house full of kids and a husband who needs to sleep after working nights. What is a mom to do?
