More snowy fun

My kids have been able to really enjoy the snow during this school vacation.
"Mommy, where am I?"

"Here I am!"

Joe and Andrew also discovered that our sledding hill has gotten quite slippery, which makes them FLY down on their sleds. Joe found out that where the snow pile is from plowing makes for a good jump on the sleds.
Going up...

Coming down, getting some air...

Oh, oh, a little off balance...

Face-plant!

The boys were actually making it across our driveway and down the other side, quite a feat. Tonight we got a nasty coating of freezing rain on top of our snow, hopefully the sledding hill won't get too slippery and fast now. The roads around here are really nasty, just horribly coated with ice. Rich went and spread salt and sand over most of our driveway before he headed to work, but we'll see what happens by morning. Hope everyone is safe in their homes for tonight, take care.

Hey Sush,
I came to visit your blog this a.m. for my daily dose and I was hoping you had a new post....I needed that. Thanks! I just have to say all the pics are great and you had some great action shots in there! What really made my smile was that I noticed under her sled, Becca had on the hat I made her and that just made my day and touched my heart. Just what I needed this morning! Hope you can make it into town today, but stay safe in the ice!
