Happy Birthday, Dad

Happy birthday, Dad. You are now 68 years old! I am so lucky to live close to my parents, Dad comes up most school mornings, has a cup of coffee with us, and runs the boys down to the bus. It saves me having to start the vehicles up and leave the house for a few minutes. When Becca was younger, it really made a difference, instead of having to take an infant out in the weather. Thank you for all you and Mom do for us, I hope we return the favor as willingly as you always are.

Here, in Wisconsin, trout fishing officially opened on May 3. Andew had been after Rich to take him fishing. They had so much fun, I don't know who was more excited, Rich or Andrew. Here is a picture of part of their catch. Andrew caught his limit and Rich wasn't too far behind. Andrew also went fishing in our creek one night after school with Joey, but they weren't down there long enough to catch anything. Andrew definately the outdoorsy kid in this household, Joey wants nothing to do with fishing or hunting right now.
Just an update to my laundry lament, I finally have my own washer back. It took five weeks for it to be properly repaired and three trips out for the repair guy. I am soooo happy to be able to wash clothes at my leisure, it has been running all day today and I am officially caught up on laundry for a couple of days again. Yeah!!!
