Happy new year!

Happy new year to all my blogger friends and to my family. Hope you have a prosperous and very happy 2009! We haven't gone out on New Year's eve for years, usually one or both of us are working. This year, for once, neither had to work, what a surprise. We had our good friends, Karl and Pam and their boys come over to hang out. It was such a wonderful, relaxing afternoon/evening. We always have fun when we are together and the kids play so nicely, this is just the first time in ages that the husbands were also joining our get-together. Normally it is just Pam and I and the kids, so it was lots of fun to have the men join us. We had an awesome meal of prime rib and crab legs, plus lots of munchies and sweets to snack on before and after the meal. Thank you Pam and family for hanging with us and helping us celebrate another wonderful year. By the way, Pam, you were not boring, not in the least. It was fun to be able to sit and talk and not have to focus on the kids.
