Girl time

What a fun day I had today! With the guys gone, it was truly just Becca and I all day. Becca slept in my bed last night, so we woke up together today and had some extra snuggle time. Then my Mom called and invited us down for fresh cinnamon rolls for breakfast, yum! Of course we had to go to the shed and pet the momma kitty and her babies for a bit before heading home. Then we got ready and went shopping. We walked the mall together, explored Toys R Us, visited my in-laws for a bit, and then we took in a movie. We went to see KungFu Panda, lots of fun. Becca sat nice on her chair or on my lap, and really seemed to enjoy the movie. We were hungry afterward and did a quick supper at McDonald's (Becca's choice) and then decided to walk around ShopKo before heading home for the night. What a nice day. This was probably the first time I have been able to just take my time and enjoy exploring with Becca and not have to rush around to get things done on time. And Becca was such a good girl, she listened and stayed with me really well. These are the types of days that I imagined when I pictured myself with a daughter. I can't wait for many more of these days in the future. I can only hope she always enjoys spending this time with me like I do.

Just a quick note, my thoughts and prayers are with you Chastity in the loss of your Grandfather. As hard as it is, you're right to think of him living without pain now. Good luck getting through this difficult time, I'll be thinking of you on Tuesday.
