Prayers please

Just a quick request tonight for prayers again. My uncle Jerry passed away this morning. He was diagnosed just 4 weeks ago with cancer of the pancreas, liver, and spleen. Was put on hospice right away, unable to tolerate eating or drinking anything, I guess. My aunt and my cousin were able to care for him at home the entire time, I applaud their strength and courage to do so. Neither one has any medical background, yet they were able to totally keep him comfortable, with the help of some wonderful hospice nurses. I guess yesterday they played some polka music, specifically the chicken dance, and he did the hand motions with them. That is the only response they have had from him in about a week. How neat is that!? I thank God that Jerry passed peacefully in his sleep, comfortable, and with no struggle. What a blessing for his family, to know he is now out of pain. When Andrew saw me crying this morning, he of course wanted to know what was wrong, so I told him. His response was, "Mom, just think, now he is with God and isn't in pain anymore." I am so happy to hear he can look at death that way, I know I've tried to explain it and word things to help them understand, now I know it has worked. Thank you all, for your prayers.
