Finally!

It is official, we are finally getting the culverts installed in our creeks today. I will no longer have to drive through the creek and the kids can walk to and from the bus without getting their feet wet. I am sooo excited! Hopefully we will no longer have to worry about getting landlocked when the creeks are high or getting flooded out. I will try to post pictures of the new road when it is finished. Rich was just razzing me about not having a progression of pictures showing the installation. Sorry, folks, most of you remember what it used to look like, otherwise there are pictures on here of what it used to look like. Stay tuned for the after pictures.

I took some pictures this morning of the movement of the fog through the valley. Each set is a series of three pictures over a time period of about 20 minutes. Enjoy.

Then over the same time period, but looking up the valley more, towards my parents home.

I was just in awe of the beauty and fluid-like movement of the fog, it is almost spooky the way it fills the valley. When I first looked out this morning, the fog looked like it was clearing, it was just down along the creek. Andrew rode the ATV down to the bus, because of the construction today, I looked out just a minute after he had left, and I couldn't even see the creek, the fog had shifted and covered the entire lower half of the valley. Then as the sun rose, it burned it off the rest of the way. It was just a terrific site to behold this morning and made me feel like I was watching the world wake up. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Wow, these are incredible pictures! Yup, LaCrosse is pretty amazing (especially without the snow!). I'm so glad I got to see it last week, and that I'll get to spend a little time there again this weekend.

Congrats on the fun improvements around your place!
