Wet night on the river

Last night Rich had decided he was going to camp on a sandbar with the boys and a couple of his buddies with their kids. What a great idea! Except for the fact that it was forecasted to rain off/on most of the night and then be decent out Sat. That didn't deter them though. Rich and his buddy, John, went fishing all morning Fri and claimed a great sandbar for the night. They set up the tents and picked up all of the kids from school and headed out onto the water. Becca and I joined them around 530. Unfortunately it was already starting to rain at that time. For the next few hours it kept on raining, just like predicted, but we only had to take shelter from it for a brief period. It was lots of fun hang out and enjoy water, even if it was wet. The guys played football with the kids, we had a campfire and roasted marshmellows, had smores and pudgie pies. I did manage to get a couple of pictures from the night, enjoy. Sorry these maybe are dark pictures, remember it was quite overcast and dark out last night.
