New park discovered

I am soo excited, we discovered a new park tonight. I had to take Andrew to his Hunter Safety class tonight, up at the Westby Rod and Gun club, and had time to waste between dropping him off at 6 and picking him up at 8. With having Joey and Becca along, it was not an option to just sitting and relaxing in the parking lot but we had to go find something to do. We went to Westby and followed the signs to Davidson Park, not knowing what we would find. Were we surprised! It is this beautiful, quiet tree covered park, with these large granite boulders around, intermixed with a playset and picnic tables. It really just felt enchanting, magical, as a kid, I could've had a lot of fun making up fantasy stories in that setting. The kids had a blast climbing on the rocks and exploring. If I can figure out how to get the pictures from my cell phone to here, I will try to post them. Of course the cell phone doesn't do justice to the place. I'll just have to get back there with my camera and take some better pictures.

The busing problem is yet to be fixed, Becca's bus was late yesterday and today again. Today I just took her up and had her there on time, for the first time. I also called the bus company and let them know that she wasn't going to be riding and also very nicely complained about the time problems. The lady I talked to seemed surprised that Becca's school started at 830. Hopefully they will figure this out soon. I am getting very tired of spending the majority of two hours sitting at the bus stop with the kids. Wish me luck.
