It's finished!

It's official, our new culverts are finally completed and boy, do the road look different. If you go back in my blog to my post on April 4 titled How to celebrate spring, there are pictures of what the creek used to look like. Here are the promised pictures of the new look of the creek, including the view from what used to be in the middle of the creek. There is a big difference, isn't there? You can click on the picture to make it larger, if you want.

About to drive uphill, where we used to start driving down into the creekbed.

Looking down into the creek.

View from main road, looking onto driveway, towards house.

Nothing too much going on this week with my family. Andrew is finishing up his hunter's safety class this weekend, he is very excited to be able to hunt officially soon. Joey has a bike ride field trip at school this week, he has been looking forward to this for awhile also. Becca is just loving preschool, everyday she comes home singing songs and acting out what she learned that day. The bus is still late every morning, it usually arrives by 840, school starts at 830. Hopefully soon they will get the busing earlier so she can be on time. Doesn't bother Becca any though. Swim lessons have started again, the kids all enjoy going there also. (especially when we get to have lunch and play with our friends afterwards) Like the title of my blog, life is crazy when school is in session and three kids in the family.

That looks so different. I bet it's weird not driving through water anymore! That's so exciting!
