Pumpkins, pumpkins,everywhere

We had plans today to meet my friend Sue M. and her four girls for a fun afternoon together. I had stopped to pick up some BIG pumpkins before swim lessons and had them follow us home. Once the kids carried them all downstairs, the fun began. Here are some pictures to show what followed...

Here is the gang, just getting underway.

Click on this picture, notice Andrew's face, he didn't want to smile for me. Maybe after seeing his face on the internet he will smile from now on.

Kayla, the oldest of the kids.

Katie and her pumpkin.

Kelsey, it was her birthday today.

The completed works of my three pumpkin-carvers. Yes, they did do extras.

Becca was all smiles as she painted her pumpkin.

Kendra had fun painting also.

Joey, being his usual goofy self.

Andrew had fun carving, he was elbow deep in his pumpkin.

The pumpkins, all lit up.

Kelsey, the birthday girl. We just had to have some cupcakes and a candle for her. She is just the sweetest girl ever.

Kendra and her mom, Sue.

Becca and Kelsey, good buddies.
We also had my nephews, Jake and Steven stay the night Friday night. The usual pairs are Jake and Joe, they are only 9 months apart in age, and then Andrew and Steven, who are more like 6 years apart in age. They also are the biggest and smallest when next to each other. Just to show the difference in size, this picture shows both boys in the same size of shorts, in Andrew's size 14s. Just a little bit of difference in size, huh?

Looks like you guys had so much fun with the pumpkins. I'm so glad you got to spend time with the McGarry's.
