Remember last post I said that I had bought some apples when out with my Mom? Well the time came to decide what to do with those apples. In our home, we all love hot spiced cider and homemade applesauce. So one afternoon when the kids came home from school, I surprised them and had the cider on the stove, ready for them to enjoy. Then the boys decided they wanted to help me make the applesauce, so I put them to work. Joe was in charge of peeling the apples and it was Andrew's job to cut up and put them into the pan. Joe helped me add all the spices and then helped to mash them up once softened. Thanks guys for the help, I love baking and working in the kitchen with the ones I love.

These are great pics. You have the most awesome kids. Glad you enjoyed the time spent cooking with them and it sounds yummy.
Cooking with kids is so much fun. It looks like the boys really enjoyed it.
