What a GREAT weekend!

I just spent the most amazing weekend with three great friends, all of them also my great co-workers. We had decided awhile ago that we really needed to get away once, that we all deserved and needed a break, why not take it together? What a great idea. Not one of us had ever been to Door County, Wisconsin before and after some discussion, decided to plan our weekend away. This was a difficult trip for me, this was the first time I had ever left the kids for three nights. They were with Rich, so they were fine, it was just for me that it was hard. I missed them sooo. But what fun I had on my girls' weekend! We had perfect weather, it was cool (about 60ish) and sunny for two of the three days. We actually were happy for the wind and rain on the last day, it made for a great contrast in lake effects to take pictures of. We all are a little bit picture-happy, between us in a day and a half, we had over 900 pictures! Here are just a few to give you a taste of what we experienced. Sorry for the teasers, I am too tired tonight to post more pictures. Oh, need I say it? I LOVE my new camera! Thank you sweety, for agreeing with me about buying it! Thank you LaVonne, Stacy, and Kari for joining me on this terrific vacation. I haven't laughed that much in a long time. I hope we can make this an annual event.
Hopefully tomorrow night I will have more energy for posting more pictures, it is just so difficult to decide which of my 350 pictures to share. Stay tuned.
