Last night we got to go up to Becca's school for her Christmas program. I have to say, her preschool and daycare the daycare that it is affiliated with, are awesome. The director said last night that this was the 19th year they have put on a Christmas program. They have three different groups get up and sing a couple of songs, overall the program is only about 30 minutes long, but it is soo cute to see these little kids perform. They start with with the 2 year old kids, for them it is more the teachers singing and the kids performing some actions with them. Next came the the 3 and 4 year olds, again absolutely adorable. Here are a couple of pictures from this group...
"Where is Santa, where is Santa, here I am, here I am"
"Twinkle, twinkle, Christmas star"
Then came Becca's group, the preschoolers, they all came marching in wearing antlers and red noses.
Of course, they had to sing "Rudolph, the red nosed reindeer"
They also sang a version of "Twinkle, twinkle," which included dancing and hugging friends. We all laughed, Becca had to find her good buddy, Ethan, for part of it. We joke with Ethan's family that some day we will be in-laws, who knows. They also sang a "Christmas Hokey Pokey", I especially liked when they turned and put their tushies in and shook them all about. Gotta love it. Becca stopped at one point, was supposed to be singing, but had to pose for her Daddy taking pictures.
Sorry the pictures are dark, the lighting was dimmed, and there are always TONS of people there to watch the kids. It was hard to take pictures, Rich actually stood on a chair along the back to take these. I also had a good time watching my dad, he just about had tears in his eyes as he watched the kids, he just enjoys seeing the little squirts perform. Oh, yeah, Santa made an appearance for the kids also.
Hope everyone is enjoying this wonderous season.

How fun. Becca looks so beautiful, I love her dress. Little kids are always so much fun to watch.
Do they get a very long Christmas break?
Hey Sue,
I loved the concert. It was so cute! So glad Miss Becca invited me! I have yet to download and edit my pics, but will soon.
Also, I love the new look of your blog. The blue is pretty, plus the look of the solidarity of the one snowy bench on your deck is so serence and peaceful!
