Winter wonderland

Every morning when I drive the kids down to the bus, I have been seeing these beautiful plant stems, covered in frost. To me, they just seem so peaceful and stunning. Then by the time I turn around and come back up to the house, the sun is starting to peak over the hills, beaming into the valley, just making all that frost sparkle and gleam. Today I finally remembered to take my camera down with me, the kids almost missed the bus because I was so busy taking pictures. Hope you enjoy these scenes also.

The creek is always wrapped in fog and frost in the mornings.

The sun does wonderous things to the frost.

Just so you believe I was taking the kids to the bus, they were with me.

Susan,
These are all absolutely gorgeous! More pretty then what you were telling me! To bad there wasn't a photog contest somewhere, you could totally enter these! I have been wanting to take frost pics b/c I see how pretty it is when I leave work in the a.m. and now this totally motivates me to do so. I may have to print a few of these out and hang them up. Beautiful! Great work!
