Busy weekend

Whew, what a busy weekend we had around here! Joey had a cub scout sleep-over at the Childrens' Museum Friday and I had to work, then on Saturday, the kids had their last swim lesson for this session. This is usually the fun day, where the kids get to pick whatever they want to do. The teachers had out this giant surfboard, Andrew had a blast on it.

Of course, Joey had to join Andrew on the surfboard. They're up...

and they're going down.

Becca joined a train with the noodles.

Then Saturday night there was a free admitance to the Childrens' Museum through my work, it was just too tempting to pass up, so I took the kids there while Rich got caught up on some sleep. Even though Joe was just there, the kids still all had so much fun. They all played in the full size fire truck.

Andrew had to try the rock wall. Here he is getting ready, putting on the harness.

Halfway there

He made it!

Next it was Becca' turn to get ready to climb.

Starting to climb

She did great, actually was able to climb a little bit. Not too bad for an almost 5yr old.

Then the best part for the kids, Santa was there! Both Joey and Becca took a turn sitting on Santa's lap and talking to him. I was lucky enough to get some great pictures.

Thanks for sharing my weekend. Now it is back to the grindstone of school for the kids and my usual of cleaning and taking care of everyone for the week. Please say a prayer for my MIL, she hasn't been feeling well and is struggling to keep her spirits up in the face of everything she has been facing. She could use some prayers and some pleasant thoughts right about now. Thanks friends.

Hi Susan,
I love all the pics at the childrens museum and the ones of the boys on the surfboard. Looks like everyone had fun. The climbing wall looked like fun!
