prayers needed

Please, everyone, send prayers up for our friend, Kendra. She is in Children's Hospital right now, and is very sick. Please pray that her pain is finally controlled, that she is able to fight this infection, and that her family is able to be with her and cope with what they see their daughter/sister go through. Things are very grim right now, they need many prayers to help Kendra's situation improve. It is hard to imagine, as a parent, having to make some of the decisions for your child that this family has had to make over the past 5 years, since Kendra was born. No child should have to deal with such chronic issues, something that adults don't even handle well. This little girl is a trooper, she hardly ever complains, accepts all that God has dealt her, and is just a joyful, funny child. She is known to keep a syringe of water at her bedside, to squirt/attack any doctor that comes through her door. She loves her babydolls and thinks she needs a real stroller (no doll stroller for her). She is just a regular little girl, who has some extraordinary medical issues and needs. Her entire family has had to make adjustments, they are just a wonderful family. They have learned to drop everything to take Kendra to the hospital, that her throwing up is a normal part of life, and that their little sister's needs have to come first. I don't think my kids would be as gracious at this as these girls are. Ask God for some peace for this family. They have already been through so much, hopefully what we are all fearing will not come to pass, I don't know if they can cope with any more. Thank you all for helping me to beg God to make Kendra well enough to go home and let the family have the holidays together, to make some happy memories that they can always cherish. Also send them some happy thoughts, they can use every bit possible.
