Swim lessons

I have probably told many of you already about how much I love where we take the kids for swim lessons, they do a phenomenal job with all the kids. Andrew and Joey have been taking lessons for several years and Becca has already been taking for just about 2 years. Andrew has passed all the levels and is just repeating a class to get to swim with his buddy, Josh. Joey is in level 5 of 6 levels and Becca is getting closer to passing level 2. Becca has finally worked up the nerve again to go off the diving board the last two classes now. She needs the teacher to help her off the board, it is a little too intimidating for her to get herself to jump off. Then there is another teacher in the water to catch her and help her to the edge, like I said the teachers are great about helping each kid at their own level.

She also loves to jump from the side of the pool, something they call Chop, chop, timber. They start out as seeds, get splashed with water to "grow", and then get "chopped down" and jump into the water.

My friend, Pam, also has sent her 3 boys to swim lessons, for just as long as we have gone. Her older boys, Josh and Matt, are in lessons with my boys, and have been together for most of their classes. Pam's youngest, Nick, is in the same level as Becca, but in a different class. He loves jumping off the board and I think that Pam and I both caught him jumping with our cameras this time. Here you go, Nick, you are flying in midair.

Lest you don't believe me that my boys are at swim lessons also, here are a couple of quick pictures of Andrew and Joey, practicing their different swim strokes, back and forth across the pool.

If you are ever looking for a place to take swim lessons, talk to me, I can give you an excellant recommendation. Hope you all have a good week.
