I might as well apologize right away, sorry for this boring post, not much new going on in our household. Becca is sick again, seems like I just can't get her healthy right now. She complained a bit yesterday morning about her right ear hurting and then this morning she was acting more miserable and was really complaining about her ear hurting. Every time in the past when she states her ears hurt, I take her in, and sure enough, she has an ear infection. Took her in after preschool today, Dr took one look in her right ear and said, "Oh, wow, she has a really nasty infection in here." He said there was pus visible in that ear and that her left ear also showed signs on infection starting. Thankfully he was willing to put her on a strong antibiotic, at the max dose no less. I really hope this finally kills all these bugs and she can start to feel better. I thought as kids got older they were supposed to outgrow frequent ear infections? Becca has had 3 in the last year, nothing extreme, but more than she had in her entire life until now. I plan on taking her back to get rechecked once she finishes this course of antibiotics and I might also push for a hearing test, just to make sure. I'll keep everyone posted on how she progresses.
Nothing else new going on, kids are all doing well in school. Andrew is loving playing the tenor saxophone and he is also keeping up with his viola. He is getting so excited for deer hunting next weekend, he is getting so close to being able to really hunt, to carry his own weapon, he just can't stand it. Joe is really taking off this year in school, he is in a High Performance Learning class (like an honors class) for reading and will probably be advanced in math also later this year. Joe could care less about the deer hunt coming up, much to his Dad's chagrin, he doesn't like hunting. I know Rich is hoping that as Joey grows up he will gain more interest, that once he can carry a gun for himself and not have to just watch that he will be more interested. Some of you reading this maybe don't understand the drive for some people to hunt, I grew up with deer hunters, definately married a big-time hunter, and am sure at least some of my kids will be hunters.
Again, sorry for the boring posts lately, not even any new pictures of the kids to share. I promise to take some pictures soon.
